Acceptance
By accessing or downloading any mobile application published by Tandem Labs on the Apple App Store, or by creating an account on any Tandem Labs SaaS platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a school district, company, or organization, you represent that you have the legal authority to bind that entity.
License Grant & Access
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our applications and SaaS platforms for their intended personal, educational, or internal business purposes, subject to your compliance with these Terms and any applicable subscription fees.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of any Tandem Labs application or platform.
- Use our platforms to transmit unauthorized communications, malware, or unlawful content.
- Attempt to bypass authentication mechanisms, probe our Supabase infrastructure for vulnerabilities, or access data belonging to other organizations or schools.
- Use our educational or consumer software for any purpose that violates local, state, or federal laws (including educational privacy laws).
Institutional & Organization Accounts
For SaaS platforms utilized by organizations or school districts, the designated Administrator is responsible for managing user access, assigning roles, and ensuring that their users adhere to these terms. Tandem Labs is not liable for unauthorized data access resulting from compromised administrator credentials or misconfigured permissions on the client’s end.
Service Availability & Modifications
While we strive for 99.9% uptime for our critical SaaS platforms, we reserve the right to perform scheduled maintenance, push updates, or modify app features. For legacy App Store applications, we reserve the right to deprecate features or remove applications from distribution in accordance with platform guidelines.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tandem Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use or inability to use our software.
